We tuned in to find what the technology giant is bringing to the table this time and here is what we learned about Apple’s new gadgets so far:
iPhone 13
Apple announced the new iPhone 13 which, like the previous generation, comes in four different configurations: iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max.
The phone is made of surgical-grade stainless steel and protected with a Ceramic Shield that is tougher than any smartphone glass.
It is powered by an A15 Bionic chip with a 4-core GPU that is 30% faster than the leading competition.
Moreover, the latest iPhone has a new display engine and a brighter screen with a better refresh rate. It also has a new video encoder and decoder. Not to mention that its new camera is capable of receiving 47% more light with less noise.
Additionally, iPhone 13 supports 5G, up to 1TB of storage, and has all-day battery life.
The Design
The Sizes Remain The Same:
The sizes of the four configurations remain the same at 5.4, 6.1, and 6.7 inches, however, the new iPhone is slightly thicker and has more display area.
There Are More Finishing Options For the iPhone:
The Pro and Pro max models come in four finishes: Sierra Blue, Silver, Gold, and Graphite. On the other hand, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini come in five finishes: Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Red (Product).
The Camera
As expected, the iPhone 13 camera technology received a major upgrade. Thanks to its 3 new cameras, the phone has better stability, more video features, and improved low-light capabilities.
Better Camera for iPhone 13 Pro
With a better telephoto lens, the camera on the iPhone 13 Pro is improved to be on par with the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Additionally, the sensor-shift stabilization feature that was limited to the Pro models is now available in the entire iPhone 13 lineup.
Improved Low-Light Capabilities
The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have improved capabilities in low-light conditions thanks to their larger pixels, autofocus feature, and f/1.08 aperture.
New Camera Modes
The new camera has a cinematic video mode which brings a Portrait-mode-style effect to video. Moreover, Apple is adding ProRes support to the Pro models, which is the video equivalent of ProRAW. Those improvements put the phone closer to being a semi-pro video shooting rig.
Moreover, Apple introduced a new feature called “Photographic Styles” which allows users to apply their preferred Tone and Warmth settings to their photos. This feature is different from the regular filters because it keeps things like skies and skin tones natural.
The Chip
The new iPhone is equipped with Apple’s latest chip, the A15. The 5-nanometer chip brings faster performance and efficiency improvements.
Faster 5g Connection
iPhone 13 utilizes Qualcomm’s X60 modem for faster 5G connection speeds and better 5G coverage. The iPhone now supports the 5G network in 60 countries and 200 providers including Batelco, one of Bahrain’s major providers.
Additionally, the phone has a smart data mode that shifts the network to LTE when 5G is not needed which saves a lot on power.
The Display
The Super retina XDR display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a “ProMotion display” feature which dynamically adjusts that refresh rate to save on power.
The Battery
The new battery lasts up to 2.5 hours longer than the previous model.
The Storage
The iPhone 13 has more storage capacity and supports up to 1TB, which is double the previous model’s 512GB maximum capacity.

New Color Options:
The new watch comes in five new aluminum colors: green, blue, red (Product), Starlight and Midnight.
The chip
The Apple Watch Series 7 has an upgraded S7 chip. Using a double-sided chip technology, Apple managed to produce a smaller S7, and as a result, make more room for a bigger battery.
As for the connectivity, the watch uses an improved version of the current U1 Ultra Wideband chip.
New Features
Along with this series, Apple introduced guided meditations, a workout program for the snow season, and group workouts that support up to 32 people.
iPad

iPad Mini
